Ok, I wasn't aware of those previous discussions (I don't follow the
binutils mailing list, so if it was just on binutils and not GDB, I have
not seen them).
FWIW, I'm in favor of anything that would make the development of
binutils/gdb/gcc more coherent (including using a single repo for all
three).
