I have a small program that uses tkinter but would like to run it without having a dependency to X11. I have managed to compile Tcl/Tk that doesn't need X server but how to manage the same with Python? Thanks ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 3+ messages in thread

May not be quite what you want, but I have a Windows Python2.7 plus Windows Tkinter/tcl/tk application that still works just fine.
