Bug ID: 98005
Summary: FAIL: std/ranges/adaptors/sizeof.cc (test for excess
errors)
Product: gcc
Version: 11.0
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: libstdc++
Assignee: unassigned at gcc dot gnu.org
Reporter: redi at gcc dot gnu.org
CC: schwab@linux-m68k.org
Target Milestone: ---
Target: m68k-unknown-linux-gnu
https://gcc.gnu.org/pipermail/gcc-testresults/2020-November/630737.html
More info needed to analyse it though. The logs should show the failing static
assertions.

Thanks, Andreas.
Patrick, I'm not sure why this fails on m68k. It doesn't necessarily indicate a
bug in the library, just that the test isn't portable to all targets. Not a
priority to look into though.

Objects of type ranges::take_while_view<V, decltype (&pred_f)> or
ranges::transform_view<V, decltype (&func_f)> do have the correct size, though.

--- Comment #4 from Andreas Schwab <schwab@linux-m68k.org> ---
Except that those are not the failing assertions.
sizeof(ranges::take_while_view<V, decltype (pred_l)>) and
sizeof(ranges::transform_view<V, decltype (func_l)>) are both 10, probably
because sizeof(pred_l) and sizeof(func_l) are 1, and padding is different.

Looks like after r12-4517 the test now compiles successfully on m68k according
to
https://gcc.gnu.org/pipermail/gcc-testresults/2021-October/729689.html
Though the test presumably still fails on the 11 branch.
