I found a small example showing the problem in PR java/6520.
The problem is that the second Float.NaN is not promoted to double.
public class foo
{
public static void check (double x, double y)
{
System.out.println (x == y);
}
public static void main(String[] args)
{
check (Math.min (2.0f, Float.NaN), Float.NaN);
}
}
