It was reported on
https://launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded/4.8/4.8-2014-q3-update , containing "gdb
: 7.6 with mainline backports". Not easy to trace back the exact version,
reported git hash does not exist.

It was reported fixed in
https://launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded/4.9/4.9-2014-q4-major , containing "gdb:
7.8 with mainline backports", with git hash matching gdb release 7.8.2.

Marking as resolved-fixed in 7.9 (there doesn't seem to be a target milestone
7.8.2).
