I've made a test release for gsl-1.14, please try it out and report
any problems:

Builds on the Intel 10.1 20090203 compiler and passes make check at
-O0 (some test tolerances do not pass at -O{1,2}).  GCC 4.3.3 passes
make check at -O2.  Both on Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty).

Any chance you can also include the gsl_integration_glfixed
patch for fixed order Gauss-Legendre integration
(http://sourceware.org/ml/gsl-discuss/2009-q2/msg00035.html)?

Now added. I had to increase a few of the test tolerances but that was
the only change.

Again, on Ubuntu Jaunty that passes make check on -O0 with Intel 10.1
20090203 and -O2 with GCC 4.3.3.

Using MinGW (latest packages) + TDM GCC 4.4.1 + MSYS 1.0.11 and both

CFLAGS="-mfpmath=sse -msse2 -O2 -fexceptions"

CFLAGS="-O2 -fexceptions"

gsl-1.13.91 passes make check.

if you put test at the end of the SUBDIRS=

will it help ?

Maybe, but it's not the recommended way to do it.
