  Hello,
    I had insight-5.1.1 and Insight-5.2.1 (configured as arm-elf gdb)
working on my Redhat 7.1 PC.
but few days back, I had installed an RPM based arm-elf packege specific
to a board.
since then GUI does not come UP.
but it works fine on CLI (ie with -nw option).

if I use pc based gdb to debug
the result is "Program exited normally"

Can any one help me how to come out of this problem.

Best Regards,
Venkatesh M R

What's in the package list for the RPM? Where did you install insight?
Which version of insight are you now trying to run? 5.2.1? Try this:

Set GDBTK_DEBUG > 0 and running insight. You should get a logfile
"insight.log". If not, then initialization is going wrong. My guess
would be an incompatible Tcl/Tk...

Hello Keith,

Thanks A lot for that tip ("Set GDBTK_DEBUG > 0")

Its working now, all I had to do was delete ".gdbtkinit" file :-o),

Best Regards & Thanks,
