Given the age of these bugs should we just close them as "wontfix"?  I don't
see anyone stepping up to fix them anytime soon.

The remaining action needed on this bug report is that the archives for
March 2001 should still be regenerated (resulting in "2001-03n" directories,
I suppose) from the mbox archives; likewise those for the quarter or year
containing March 2001, for those archived quarterly or yearly (using
qmail archives where ftp mbox ones not available, i.e. gcc-cvs-wwwdocs).
