That failing strcmp may come from stp_tracepoint.c, via
stp_tracepoint_going / get_tracepoint
00126 head = &tracepoint_table[hash & (TRACEPOINT_TABLE_SIZE - 1)];

that offset 0x30 looks like it could be a match for e->name with null e
