Dear Cygwin Team,

I have been trying to build some libraries locally and I keep having this
error :

  0 [main] make 49412 find_fast_cwd: WARNING: Couldn't compute FAST_CWD
pointer.  Please report this problem to
the public mailing list cygwin@cygwin.com
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found.  Stop.

Any Tipps on how to over come it ?

The OS was upgraded from Win 7 to 10 recently... should I just reinstall
Cygwin?

Hello,

I just received the error message "WARNING: Couldn't compute FAST_CWD
pointer. Please report this problem to the public mailing list
cygwin@cygwin.com"

So I'm just here following instructions.

I usually operate git from the terminal in RStudio, and for some reason
that is also not functioning (and returning the same error message).

So this error message is coming up using RStudio terminal and windows
command prompt, and for some reason I can't access git from Rstudio
terminal (but can from windows command prompt)

I just updated to Win 10.

Now I get this:

C:\IAS_Advantage>ls

So ... that's what I've done (after a brief google didn't turn up a

Got this warning message when using  ssh on Windows command.
I upgraded my notebook from Windows 8  to Windows 8.1, then it started
having this message.
