Hi,
Is there a way to reformat (and indent correctly) an existing DocBook SGML
document?
I don't use (x)emacs nor am I willing to do so. I have the habit of
editting from a remote terminal or sometimes even a real life local
terminal (vt420) but would like to reformat some of my documents as I have
been too lazy in the past.
Any suggestions?
Hugo.

Proceed with caution. As a general rule, you cannot pretty-print an
SGML or XML document without knowing the schema (lowercase S)
associated with it. That's because the significance of whitespace is
not apparent from the tags along, only from the content models.

A friend had wrote a perl tool for that. I've got it for some weeks but
I haven't got the time to test it.
If you test it I'll thanks your comment.

I tried to feed it some coffee:
../../SOFTWARE/indentar.pl Coffee.sgml
syntax error at line 1, column 61, byte 61 at ../../SOFTWARE/indentar.pl line 34
I found another script that does them all but it jumbles my <screen>
sections.
