ecos.db New Packages

Kinetis HAL and driver update.

New features:
    - DMA support library
    - FlexBus external memory support
    - SPI driver
    - MMC driver over SPI
    - SST25xx SPI flash driver

New BSP:
    TWR-K60N512-FXM -
    supports TWR-FXM board equipped with
    16MB PSRAM synchronous mode with burst reading

Noteworthy:
    - Startup type now appers in Platform like other platforms.
    - New component CYG_HAL_STARTUP_ENV in platform was added that parents
CYG_HAL_STARTUP_VAR and CYG_HAL_STARTUP_PLF startup types.
    - TWR-K60N512-FXM presents example of Startup type overloading by the
platform.

    - New directory hal/misc created. At present it contains Freescale EDMA
library and  Micron PSRAM support.

Hi Tomas.

DSPI driver (actually each DSPI bus) implements it.
You need to enable a DSPI bus. In order to activate a bus you need to enable a
SPI device that implements that bus. At present such drivers are MMC disk and
SST25xx Flash.

Freescale doesn't have a suitable memory card for K60 so we have built
ourselves. I am going to put information at our web site and at Towergeeks, so
here is a brief information:
    - 16MiB PSRAM with synchronous, bursting multiplexed bus (glue-less
coupling with FlexBus).
    - SST25 SPI flash
    - Micro SD socket.

TWR-K60N512 has on-board SD/MMC socket, intended for SDH but unfortunately it
is not possible to use it directly with SPI bus because MISO and MOSI seem to
be swapped!? If you play with hardware you could make some adapter. I plan to
make one by using 2 MicroSD adapters and few wires and as soon as it works I'll
post.

I realized it did not work with the onboard sd slot though not why. I wonder if
the slot on the TWR-MEM module might work, though I have not got one myself.

Looking at the MMC bus cdl declaration in the TWR-K60N512 platform
modifications patch:

  cdl_component CYGHWR_DEVS_DISK_MMC_FREESCALE_DSPI_BUS {

      requires CYGHWR_DEVS_SPI_FREESCALE_DSPI1 == 1
      ^^^^^^^

That would seem to imply that only one device can be attached to the DSPI1 bus,
which does not seem right? I think only the bus+cs combination needs to be
unique, and this is already being enforced in the SPI driver patch.

No, it will only infer DSPI1 bus to became active. If another device requires
CYGHWR_DEVS_SPI_FREESCALE_DSPI1 it will infer the same. An OR function: if any
device requires CYGHWR_DEVS_SPI_FREESCALE_DSPI1, the DSPI1 becomes active. The
example is TWR-K60N512-FXM where MMC and SST25XX share the same SPI bus.

Ok, I was thinking to define CYGNUM_DEVS_FLASH_SPI_SST25XX_DEV0_MAP_ADDR in the
devs/flash/plf/ package but you have defined it in the hal/plf/ package. Both

Thank you, i failed to notice that.

Regarding Interrupt priority, I remember a post from Nick mentioning that
interrupt 0 (highest priority) is by design reserved (same priority as DEBUG
and SVC traps) so it should not be listed in the legal value. 

Also shouldn't the priority 0xF0 be in the list?
