For example, you cannot contribute the code to another project that also
requires copyright assignment. This issue has come up in practice with
the Bacula project, where many contributors assigned their changes
twice, to different organizations.
Furthermore, it's unclear to me if you can contribute the code to a
project that gives recipients the right to sublicense.
