Well, I think it is primarily an issue of finding time to explore these
ideas further and write some code. As far as the overwatch concept was
concerned, this could probably best implemented in terms of the existing
ZOC, or perhaps some new type of zone, maybe a zone of overwatch (ZOO?),
which would have a max range defined by a table, but would also be
limited by the unit's vision range.

Currently, I am working on an extension of the help system, which allows
help files to be automatically generated for every game in the Xconq
games library. The help files can be produced in either plain text or
HTML format. I am also making the framework generic, so that support for
other formats can easily be added in the future. I still have a lot of
work to do on this, so I will probably be occupied with it for the next
few weeks. When I finish, I will put all the HTML help files for all the
games in the library on the Xconq Web site.

Eric
